Sign in for event-day accessThe 2026 Switch Global Championship brought 56 athletes from 16 nations to Circolo Vela Torbole on Lake Garda, October 8–11. After a windless opening day, 12 races were sailed October 9–11, with 7.5 and 8.5 rigs racing together in the official overall fleet. GPS coverage is strongest around starts and the leeward gate. Reports use explicitly virtual coverage checkpoints where the weather-end recordings are missing, preserving supported starts, gate splits and finish observations. GPS arrivals and totals are not official classifications; the linked organizer results remain authoritative for retirements, penalties, redress and protests. GPS data may contain gaps.
