Effective Date: July 14, 2026
SailSync (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides sailing activity, replay, coaching, and Event-sharing services. This policy explains the information we process when you visit https://www.sailsync.io or use SailSync.
Google Analytics is disabled until you select “Allow analytics.” If production analytics is enabled, ordinary SailSync pages may then load Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. Public Event page measurement is designed to be sent server-to-server so Google JavaScript does not receive the Event page DOM or signed Session handoff links.
SailSync excludes code-protected Event pages, unlock screens, human-verification and Session handoff pages, and downstream private viewer links from Google Analytics. We do not intentionally send Event access codes, Session viewer credentials, handoff tokens, GPS tracks, or passwords to Google Analytics.
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent stops future Google Analytics loading and expires recognized Google analytics cookies presented by your browser.
See the Cookie Policy for cookie names and additional details.
We may use providers that host infrastructure, deliver email, process payments, connect sailing services, provide analytics after consent, or protect SailSync from abuse. Cloudflare Turnstile is used only on the Session human-verification flow and may process network, browser, and challenge information needed to identify automated traffic.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or SailSync, in a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards, or at your direction. We do not sell Event access codes or GPS tracks.
Signup-attribution cookies expire after at most one year and are deleted when their attribution is copied to a new account. Any identifiable signup-attribution fields stored with the account are automatically cleared no later than one year after the original landing was recorded.
Other information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect SailSync. Retention varies by data type and account status. We use technical and organizational safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to, or restrict processing of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may change analytics consent without losing access to SailSync.
You can remove your SailSync account details and permanently give up access from the Delete My Data page.
Send privacy requests to contact@sailsync.ai. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
SailSync is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the service in their jurisdiction. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards. We may update this policy and will post the revised effective date here.
