2026 Sir Thomas J. Lipton Interclub Challenge

The Gulf Yachting Association’s Sir Thomas J. Lipton Interclub Challenge, hosted by Bay Waveland Yacht Club on Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, September 5–6, 2026. Fourteen yacht clubs contested five scored races in Viper 640 keelboats; all five tracked races took place on September 6. Skippers and crews rotate between races, so labels identify stable club and sail identities. This is separate from South Africa’s J/22 Lipton Challenge Cup. Later weather-end GPS gaps require explicit virtual coverage checkpoints: both weather passages in races 3–4 and the first weather passage in race 5. Those are not observed buoy roundings. Supported gate splits, finishes, start/progress maps and healthy physical-leg statistics remain; unsupported weather-span statistics are omitted. Some gate/weather positions are approximate fleet-turn estimates and short untracked offsets are folded into those turns. GPS arrival order and totals can differ from official points, especially near-ties; linked official results govern classifications. Wind estimates are approximate. See an error or need help?
