2026 David Franks Cup

The David Franks Cup, hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron with the Cowes Etchells Fleet, September 5–6, 2026. Thirteen Etchells teams contested six races in the Central Solent as the fourth event of the Cowes International Series. Both tracked days are included, with the upwind finish in race 3 and three laps in race 6 configured separately. Youth and Corinthian are scoring categories within this same fleet. Weather and gate locations are approximate fleet-turn estimates; Sunday weather lines are explicitly virtual coverage checkpoints because weather-mark GPS is missing. Supported gate splits, finishes and near-start or near-gate progress remain available; unsupported leg and aggregate metrics are omitted. GPS-derived report totals differ from official scoring, penalties and discards; the linked official results govern the regatta. GPS data can have gaps and wind estimates are approximate.
